Biography

From international beginnings to quiet, serious work.

My professional path began with studies and work in Washington D.C. and Paris, before I returned to Sweden to train and work in therapy.

I hold a Master of Studies in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy from the University of Oxford. I have completed IFS Level 2 training and IFIO (Intimacy from the Inside Out), an IFS-based approach to relationship work. My training also includes Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, which is a separate approach, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy.

Alongside my work with individuals and couples, I served as CEO and partner at Family Therapy Center Öresund and as an operations manager in senior care. In 2017 I founded Starling Heights.

These experiences shape how I meet people: with attention to relationships, an interest in what matters to you, and respect for the pace you need.

How I work

Three things people often notice.

Unhurried

Sessions move at a pace that lets the important things surface, rather than at the pace of a checklist.

Grounded in training

I bring my training and experience to a thoughtful, attentive way of working.

Relational

Whether with one person, a couple or a group, the focus is on what happens between people as much as within them.
