Therapy, at a pace that feels safe.

Individual and couples therapy for emotional complexity, relationship patterns, stress, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma and life transitions.

How I work

A space to explore what matters to you.

People often arrive when something has become too heavy, too familiar or too difficult to change alone. There may be anxiety, grief, conflict, exhaustion, a life transition, or a quiet sense that the old way of coping no longer works.

I make room for what matters to emerge at a pace we find together. In individual therapy that may mean getting to know the parts of you that protect, react, withdraw, strive or criticise. In couples work it often means understanding the pattern between two people before trying to force a different conversation.

The work draws first on Internal Family Systems (IFS), alongside Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO) for couples and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and my wider training in individual and couples therapy. We explore what feels relevant to you, with care and curiosity.

In the room

Understanding yourself.
Finding a way forward.

The inner pattern

When the same reactions, fears, shutdowns or self-critical voices keep returning, therapy can help you understand what they protect and what they need.

The relational pattern

When two people are caught in a cycle, the work is not to decide who is right. It is to slow the cycle down enough for both people to be seen.

Transition and grief

When life changes shape, therapy offers a place to take in what has happened, and to find a way forward that is less defended and less alone.

For couples

When love is still there, but the way through is not.

Couples often come when the same argument keeps returning, when closeness has turned into distance, or after something has shaken trust.

I help both partners slow down, recognise the pattern they are caught in, and find the courage to speak more honestly and listen more openly. The aim is not a perfect relationship, but a safer one: where difficult conversations can happen without either person disappearing.
